讲座题目：Student Development in Teacher-Student Interaction: Evidence from a Randomized Experiment in Online Education

Using a field experiment, we conduct the first investigation of how the teacher-student interaction in online education impacts the academic achievements and noncognitive abilities of primary school students. Our findings indicate that adding regular interactive online recitation sessions to pure online courses leads to significant improvements in students’ exam scores, as well as increased levels of extraversion, openness, and conscientiousness. The effects can be attributed to three underlying mechanisms. First, students who participate in the session demonstrate better in-class attention. Second, they devote more time to reviewing lessons after class. Third, they exhibit a higher degree of social interaction.
专家简介：
王春超，暨南大学zoty中欧登录入口院长，教育部高层次人才特聘教授，国家社科基金重大项目首席专家。首批国家级一流专业建设点（经济学）负责人、首批国家级一流课程（宏观经济学）负责人。兼任中华全国总工会智库专家、劳动经济学会新经济与新就业专业委员会主任、广东经济学会常务副会长。主要研究劳动经济学、发展经济学、数字经济学等。出版（主编）专著3部，在《经济研究》《管理世界》《社会学研究》《教育研究》和American Economic Journal: Economic Policy, Journal of Human Resources等发表论文150余篇，多篇论文被《新华文摘》《中国社会科学文摘》等全文转载，在《人民日报》《光明日报》《经济日报》等发表多篇文章。主持国家及省部级科研项目18项，获高等学校科学研究优秀成果（人文社科）二等奖等省部级科研奖励8项、省厅级科研奖励9项。以第一完成人获国家级教学成果奖二等奖、广东省五一劳动奖章。
